St. Ephrem of Syria
Jesus said to his disciples, “If you bring your gift to the altar, and there recall that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there at the altar, go first and be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift (Matthew 5: 23-24).
This is a clear example of how important charity is to Christ. It is THE most important virtue. Charity always comes first. Let’s make a real effort to speak well of everyone around us.
Holy Spirit, help me to only speak positively of others.
