St. Getulius and Companions
Jesus said to his disciples, "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.' But I say to you, everyone who looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one of your members than to have your whole body thrown into Gehenna (Matthew 5: 27-29).
Sin is really serious. It is not a joke. Now Christ does not want us to literally tear our eye out but He does want us to live with a pure life and to treat others as children of God and not objects to be used.
Lord Jesus, remind me that all men and women are your sons and daughters and thus my brothers and sisters.
Impact Sports: Do I have enough self-discipline to refuse to retaliate after being shoved or insulted during a game?
Impact Life: Am I strong enough to say no to sinful behavior?
