February 18 - St. Simeon

Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there recall that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there at the altar, go first and be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift” (Matthew 5: 23-24).

Christ is telling us how important it is to apologize and forgive. At times this is extremely hard to do but once again we need to use our will to conquer our feelings.

Jesus, strengthen my will so I may apologize and forgive when needed.

Impact Life: Do I always apologize when I offend or insult others?
