Jesus said to his disciples, "Are not two sparrows sold for a small coin? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father's knowledge. Even all the hairs of your head are counted. So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. Everyone who acknowledges me before others I will acknowledge before my heavenly Father. But whoever denies me before others, I will deny before my heavenly Father” (Matthew 10: 29-33).

Are you strong enough to talk about Christ with your friends? Why is it that we find it easy to talk about the coolest football player but are scared to talk about Jesus? Probably because we care more about the football player. Let’s give that some thought.

Lord God, I am sorry for being so afraid to talk about you. Give me the strength to love you above all things.
