Jesus said to his disciples, “Are not two sparrows sold for a small coin? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father's knowledge. Even all the hairs of your head are counted. So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. Everyone who acknowledges me before others I will acknowledge before my heavenly Father. But whoever denies me before others, I will deny before my heavenly Father” (Matthew 10: 29-33).

There are many ways to acknowledge God: praying in public, making the sign of the cross, wearing a crucifix … but living a virtuous life being charitable and humble is a wonderful way to show others that you really take your faith seriously.

Blessed Mother, you were never afraid to put God first in your life. Help me to do the same.
