December 16 - St. Adelaide

John was a burning and shining lamp, and for a while you were content to rejoice in his light.  But I have testimony greater than John's. The works that the Father gave me to accomplish, these works that I perform testify on my behalf that the Father has sent me (John 5: 33-36).

The Father sent Jesus to us because he loves us and he wanted to give us a true model that we can aspire to live up to. As Christ lived so does the Father want us to live.

Lord Jesus, I want to make the resolution to live with virtue and use my will to conquer my feelings.
