December 15 - St. Christiana

Then what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.

This is the one about whom scripture says: 'Behold, I am sending my messenger ahead of you, he will prepare your way before you' (Luke 7: 26-27).

This month we often hear about preparing the way. This is a constant reminder for us to be joyful and happy that we are about to celebrate the amazing birth of our King and Lord.

Holy Spirit, remind me to focus on Jesus and not presents or material things this Advent and Christmas season.
