December 11 - St. Damasus

A man named John was sent from God. He came for testimony, to testify to the light, so that all might believe through him. He was not the light, but came to testify to the light (John 1: 6-8).

John the Baptist served by helping to prepare people for Christ. He showed others that Jesus was the light of the world. The world needs more leaders like St. John.

Jesus, help me to give light to my friends by being a good example.
