St. Maximilian Mary Kolbe

While Jesus was speaking, a woman from the crowd called out and said to him, "Blessed is the womb that carried you and the breasts at which you nursed." He replied, "Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it" (Luke 11: 27-28).

St. Maximilian was such a heroic man that even the soldiers who were starving him to death wanted to be near him because he was such an awesome example of masculinity. He gave his life so that another man could live, just like Jesus did for us.

Lord God, the Saints are amazing testimonies of strength. I want to be a Saint.
