St. Reparata

While Jesus was speaking, a woman from the crowd called out and said to him, "Blessed is the womb that carried you and the breasts at which you nursed." He replied, "Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it" (Luke 11: 27-28).

This is actually a great compliment for Mary, Jesus’ Mother, because she heard the word of God and observed it better than anyone else. She never gave excuses or complaints, she just did God’s will plain and simple.

Mary, my Mother, I want to follow your example.

Impact Sports: If pushed or insulted during a game am I strong enough to channel that toward the game and not draw a penalty?

Impact Life: Do I see forgiveness as strength?
