St. Bridget of Sweden

Jesus summoned the crowd and said to them, "Hear and understand. It is not what enters one's mouth that defiles that person; but what comes out of the mouth is what defiles one" (Matthew 15: 10-11).

One easy way to grow in spiritual strength is to only use good language. It is so common to hear athletes swearing. It’s a shame because they are only showing how weak they are. Men and women who are proud to follow Jesus treat others with respect and speak accordingly.

Blessed Mother, help me to only use proper language.
