Jesus said to the Sadducees, “As for the dead being raised, have you not read in the Book of Moses, in the passage about the bush, how God told him, 'I am the God of Abraham, (the) God of Isaac, and (the) God of Jacob'? He is not God of the dead but of the living. You are greatly misled" (Mark 12: 26-27).
God is not some idea or far away being who cares little for us. Our God was born in a stable and He walked on the earth. He played, read, taught and worked … Our God lives with us in the tabernacle.
Lord Jesus, help me to think more often about eternal life with you in Heaven.
Impact Sports: Do I have the habit of leaving the weight room or other facilities better and cleaner than when I found them each day?
Impact Life: Do I control my eyes and practice self-discipline in what I look at?
