St. Nereus, St. Achilleus and St. Pancras
Lifting up his eyes to heaven, Jesus prayed, saying, "I pray not only for them, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, so that they may all be one, as you, Father, are in me and I in you, that they also may be in us, that the world may believe that you sent me” (John 17: 20-21).
Jesus gives us a great example – he prays and he prays often. The closer we draw to God the more we will have to give to others so we can be authentic servant-leaders.
Lord, help me to remember you in prayer every day.
