The Carthusian Martyrs
Lifting up his eyes to heaven, Jesus prayed, saying, “I do not ask that you take them out of the world but that you keep them from the evil one. They do not belong to the world any more than I belong to the world. Consecrate them in the truth. Your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I sent them into the world” (John 17: 15-18).
The evil one hides behind many faces and pornography is one of them. God created us to be His children, not objects to be used for selfish pleasure. Giving in to porn = giving in to the evil one. It is nothing but weakness. Be strong like Jesus, our Blessed Mother and the Martyrs.
Jesus, strengthen my will so that I will never give in to the selfish weakness of porn.
