April 2 – St. Francis of Paola
When they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe. After this he appeared in another form to two of them walking along on their way to the country. They returned and told the others; but they did not believe them either (Mark 16: 11-13).
When we are not treated charitably it is very easy to give into the temptation to speak badly about those people, to put them down and to hope that others will criticize them as well. This is not what a true Christian does. A follower of Jesus speaks well of others and does not concentrate on the negative.
Jesus, help me to always speak, write, email and instant message positively of others.
