Jesus said to his disciples, “I am the good shepherd. A good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep (John 10: 11).
Would the person whom you most admire give his life for you? Jesus did. He came to earth to be your friend and he died so you could have eternal life in Heaven. And what does he ask for in return? That you love Him and be His friend. Jesus loves you.
Lord, you gave your life for me but what have I done for you?
