St. Teresa of Avila

Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before others the Son of Man will acknowledge before the angels of God. But whoever denies me before others will be denied before the angels of God" (Luke 12: 8-9).

It takes a lot of courage to acknowledge Jesus before others, to let others know that you love Him and follow Him. Many people are afraid to do this but still want God to acknowledge them. Is that fair?

Christ Jesus, fill my heart, mind and soul with courage so I may always be proud to be Your friend.
