January 31 - Saint John Bosco, priest

When Jesus got out of the boat, at once a man from the tombs who had an unclean spirit met him. The man had been dwelling among the tombs, and no one could restrain him any longer, even with a chain. (Mark 5: 2-3)

When we sin we ruin everything, especially our relationship with God. Don’t take sin or evil lightly. Christ would not have suffered so much on the Cross if it was “light”.

Heavenly Father, strengthen my will and my resolve to do good and avoid sin.
