January 10 - St. William of Bourget

After John had been arrested, Jesus came to Galilee proclaiming the gospel of God:

"This is the time of fulfillment. The kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel" (Mark 1: 14-15).

To repent means that we recognize that we have offended God in many different ways and that we never want to offend him again.

Lord, I am truly sorry for having turned my back on you when I sin.

Impact Sports: I will apologize to a teammate I have offended.

Impact Life: Do I think negatively about others and dwell on their faults or do I try to find something positive about them?
