St. Clare of Assisi

Peter approached Jesus and asked him, "Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive him? As many as seven times?" Jesus answered, "I say to you, not seven times but seventy-seven times” (Matthew 18: 21 –22).

Forgiveness is something especially Christian. We need God’s grace to truly forgive. When you are finding it hard to forgive someone, ask Jesus for help. He forgave the soldiers who crucified Him. Your heart will find a great peace when you do forgive.

Jesus, help me to remember Your great example of forgiveness when I get angry.
