Jesus said to his disciples, “For the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and have come to believe that I came from God. I came from the Father and have come into the world. Now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father" (John 16: 27-28).
How often do you think about Heaven? It is so easy to be totally focused on material things, music, sports, our reputation and forget that all of these things are passing. Your soul was made for nobler purposes.
Holy Father, you sent us Your Son to lead us to eternal life. Help me to realize that life can be so much happier united to You.
