March 1 - St. Albinus
Peter approached Jesus and asked him, "Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive him? As many as seven times?" Jesus answered, "I say to you, not seven times but seventy-seven times” (Matthew 18: 21-22).
It takes a lot of spiritual strength to forgive a person. We need God’s help because it is very difficult to truly forgive from the heart. If you need to forgive someone, ask for the strength and know that if you do, you will be growing more like Christ.
Jesus, help me to forgive others when they make fun of me or ignore me.
