February 4 - St. Veronica

Herod feared John, knowing him to be a righteous and holy man, and kept him in custody. When he heard him speak he was very much perplexed, yet he liked to listen to him (Mark 6: 20).

St. John was a man of virtue and truth. Such men are leaders and they attract, even men as weak and sinful as Herod. God is calling you to be a leader of strength. 

Christ Jesus, you are the Truth and I want to be your witness.
