February 16 - St. Onesimus

While still more people gathered in the crowd, Jesus said to them, "This generation is an evil generation; it seeks a sign, but no sign will be given it, except the sign of Jonah. Just as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so will the Son of Man be to this generation” (Luke 11: 29-30).

While Jesus walked the earth he was performing miracles and signs on a daily basis and it was never enough. Do you still ask God for signs or has he done enough for you to believe that he loves you?

Mary, help me to believe with your constancy. You did not seek signs, nor should I.
