St. Elizabeth of Hungary

As he drew near Jerusalem, he saw the city and wept over it, saying, "If this day you only knew what makes for peace--but now it is hidden from your eyes. For the days are coming upon you when your enemies will raise a palisade against you; they will encircle you and hem you in on all sides. They will smash you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave one stone upon another within you because you did not recognize the time of your visitation" (Luke 19: 41-44).

Life is a spiritual war, make no mistake about it. Satan wants to smash and humiliate you by enslaving you to sin and your feelings. We need Christ and our spiritual armor.

Lord, help me to put on the armor of God (Read Ephesians 6: 10-18).

Impact Sports: Do I have the strength to be a spiritual leader on my team?

Impact Life: Am I a slave to a certain sin? Or am I strong enough to say, “no”.
