January 16 - St. Marcellus, Pope

The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. He is the one of whom I said, 'A man is coming after me who ranks ahead of me because he existed before me' (John 1: 29-30).

Christ is all-powerful. Erasing our sins is not a task to be taken lightly. By forgiving our sins he wants to strengthen us so we can help him transform the world.

Lord, I love you and I want to receive you in the Eucharist worthily.
